C.O.D is the abbreviation of Corrugated Optic Duct. This is a new generation of high-performance fiber optic cable conduit developed with a new concept based on summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of various fiber optic cables and cable conduits in the past. It adopts the modified HDPE with extremely low friction coefficient as the main raw material, the structure of the prismatic wall tube with extremely low friction coefficient as the sub-tube, and the high-pressure-resistant, easy-to-bend corrugated tube as the mother tube, which is extruded by composite extrusion. It is high pressure resistant, bendable, distinguishable and easy to construct as the main features, and has the advantages that many other products can not be compared with in physical properties, service life and engineering construction.

Pressure resistance
COD products are special spiral shape, it enhances the pressure resistance of traditional PE straight pipe, and its pressure resistance is several times of traditional pipe, which improves the effectiveness and elasticity, and it can guarantee the safety in the event of earthquake, collapse and so on.
Resistant to chemicals, strong durability Excellent acid and alkali resistance, better water resistance, and can resist corrosion when laid in seawater and wetlands, and is a semi-permanent pipe.

Trustworthiness
Because the material is non-conductive and has high insulating properties, it is ideal for cable ducts. Also the thermal expansion and contraction of the exterior is quite lower than that of the conventional conduit system, and always maintains the same ratio due to the same raw material inside and outside.
Since the COD pipe (every 500 meters) is coiled on a pipe rack, considerable labor costs can be reduced and, most importantly, COD does not need to be inserted into the inner pipe, since the diverse inner pipe is already equipped inside the outer pipe.
Due to its light gravity (0.95:1.43), the COD is quite lightweight, which makes it easier for construction and transportation than conventional pipes.
Due to the threading process, COD can be bent freely, with force up to 90 degrees or even greater, without the need for any special tools to bend or straighten. It can go around any obstacles encountered on the construction site.
Due to the inner tube's good single line design and very low coefficient of friction , there are no joints, no kinking problems wires are particularly convenient, but also extends the distance between holes. The inner tube is completely airtight and resistant to high internal pressure, allowing the use of fiber optic cable air pulling method. In the case of the same outer diameter, more inner tubes can be produced, increasing the efficiency of use.
Most importantly, the COD is capable of admitting up to 75% of the diameter of the inner tube, compared to 50% of the diameter of a conventional tube.
